Anas Abu-Khalifa

Al Salam Alaikom, I am Anas, a 30 year old artist based in Egypt. I have been to multiple European and Mideastern countries throughout my life. My education spanned among the Saudi Arabian system, the French system at Lyon for primary education, and finally ending with the Printing and Publishing department at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Helwan University, Egypt.

My experience of professional work has begun in the art and entertainment industry since 2012 in the fields of comics, animation, games, and commercial work. Currently I work as an art director for illustrations, character design, visual story telling, as well as concept design in the media and game industry.

Throughout my journey, I had the opportunity to partake in the shaping of the art community in Egypt, by bringing people together in order to educate them on topics such as how to deal with different business mindsets, as well as handling cultural diversity within the workplace. This has also granted me the gift of meeting so many astonishing artists, some of which are currently great friends and people that inspire me on a personal level too. I was able to learn a lot from many art masters, and keep an open mind by constantly dealing with the younger generation of artists

 As a result of the previous experience and by taking the experience of running my own business aside to all of the above, I was able to boil down some soft skills, time management skills, and stay updated with most of the technology intercepting our field. Commitment and eagerness to learn from all of the leading studios and production companies have been a leading motivation for me.

My goal is to constantly explore the limits and beyond, and for that I'm always looking forward to schedule a meeting with those providing products and services in sought of together, finding the best creative solutions.
